The Town of Slave Lake
In 2010 the community of Slave Lake invited the youth of the commmunity to collaborate with the seniors to create a Pubble People mural connecting the two generations. Students from the towns elementary school programs ranging from pre-school to grade six painted a mural of a young girl and the seniors of the community painted a friendly elderly gentleman and the two murals were then united holding hands and thus uniting the community. This mural was destroyed in the fire of 2011

Atfer the Fire... Mural Mosiac worked close with the city to involve as many communty members as possible with a "open house" workshop. Schools, senoirs and ages of all were invited and "Slave Lake Family" was born.
