Minnie is a little rescue dog who lives with her very kind owners in California .
I asked permission to her owner (Theresa )to paint her doggie for my Dog Mosaic tile , as I loved her completely happy grin in her photo on Facebook .
I then learned her story!
She was found , very young , pregnant & begging for food in the Watts/South Central LA area .
She was terrified & vicious at first & her prospects did not look good for adoption. Her owner said she had been traumatized. With care, understanding & time she finally came around & now years later is the happy dog in the photo/painting. Lastly, she got her name when she responded to her owners Granddaughter talking about Minnie Mouse!
