We are Mural Mosaic.
Our vision for the Sylvan Lake Canada Connects Mural is to share to joy of painting and connection through the creation of an art piece that brings hundreds of us together over a shared experience.
Since 2003, communities, groups, businesses, charities and individuals have participated in Mural Mosaics.
Lewis Lavoie is our Art Director. Lewis is the magic behind these mesmerizing murals. He has a unique vision and a special talent for seeing what isn’t there and bringing it to life.
Phil Alain works in a Production Lead role as the primary liaison between each commissioned mural and our team back at the studio.
Paul Lavoie is a Project Lead and engages in production at the studio including graphic design and product development.
This global art project by Mural Mosaic will (Re)Connect the World. One painted tile, one tree, one community, one country at a time.
The purpose of this project is to (re)connect our communities, families and long distance loved ones through the joy and inspiration that bringing mosaic tiles together into one united piece of art.
While we can’t be in every country on every mural site, we can all create art virtually to maintain our safety and enjoy sharing and connecting with one another.
Mural Mosaic creates Art that Awes and Inspires.

As you review the painting demos, we encourage you to ‘let go’ and enjoy the process!
Refer to your participant guide for FAQ’s and additional information about your palette colors and painting a tile that will fit into the final mural.
While there is an 80/20 rule, Lewis reminds everyone to use their creativity, relax into their painting time and really experience the joy that putting brush to tile brings.
