Artist Comments: A friend of mine was leasing this big beautiful Friesan called Kate. In our riding class, we all joked around that the name did not really suit this huge and magnificent creature! One day, one of the girls got to ride Kate. She made a comment that riding Kate was like riding a Cadillac! Well…the name stuck. We all now call her the ‘Cadillac’ of all horses in the barn.
