Artist Comments: In the not so distance past of the American West often the difference between seeing another sun rise or swinging from a convenient tree was the horse under the man. It didn’t matter if law man or out law the common thread that bound them together was their horse and their own abilities riding it.
“Escape Down Hangman’s Cut” depicts the painter’s vision of one of the past forgotten moments in the history of the western United States.
