Fol Yasmeen, an Arabian stallion was the fastest race horse in Egypt. His stamina and endurance was great as he was ridden the twelve miles from Hamdan Stables to Cairo, raced and won, then rode backn to the stables. He was improted to the United States and sired many prize winners. When artist John Stone was in the Arabian horse business in the 1970’s and 1980’s,he was able to purchase two sons of this famous stallion and import them to his “Misty Creek Arabian” farm, as herd sires. Their offspring won many prizes in the show ring and in endurance races. Truly, a great and noble horse!
