The legendary Quarter horse, King, inspired this panel. King P-234 was the most famous sire of the breed. He was born in 1931 and when he died at the age of 26, in 1957, he had produced 520 registered foals. His offspring thoroughly dominated most phases of the breed’s performance activity–particularly cutting competition. Described as quick to learn and very good-natured, the blood bay stallion certainly has earned his title as the cornerstone of the Quarter Horse breed.
