Title: ‘King Arthur Comforts Llamrei’

The legend of King Arthur has a magical quality to it that I’ve always found irresistible so the opportunity to paint he and his mare, Llamrei, was a natural choice for me. I saw Arthur, through the mist and fog of a mythical morning, taking a moment to reach out and comfort her. The trust between them must have been implicit, as with any warrior and his beloved horse. To be able to paint this fantasy mural was an amazing experience, and one I will never forget.
