Mount Olympus, (illustrated in the background), as the home of the Gods in Greek Mythology, is considered to hold the ideal qualities embodied by the Gods themselves. When I thought about the relationship between rider and beloved horse I thought that the equine companion would also be considered to hold these ideal qualities in the eyes of their owner. After a long, hard day’s work and at the miraculous time of sunset one might be engaged in the wonder and gratitude of sharing one’s life with such an ideal mount…..”Mount Olympus
