This piece had huge input from the students and staff of Whitelaw Elementary. I am privileged to be the art instructor here. We are a small (44 K-6 students) school. The naked tile was examined and strong suggestions offered. The finished tile was vetted and found pleasing. It was touched by many small hands and all the horses were counted. Ownership was bonafide! Such excitement is very good for an artist.
